Sponsored Swim

To help towards our clubs continued growth and sustainability we are intending to hold a sponsored swim in the week commencing 17th June for the Hetton ASC swimmers and coaches.

The plan is to swim the English Channel which is 21 Miles so around 1,352 lengths of a 25m pool. In the sessions there will be lanes set aside for the sponsor swims each day of that week and a couple of lanes for those who have already completed their swim or have opted not to take part.

Every swimmer (coach) can choose the distance they would like to like to achieve each day and we will keep track, if you need any help or advice speak to Jo

Derwentside ASC Christmas cracker 2023 – Times

Warm up / session times are: 
Saturday & Sunday
Warm Up – 8.00am & 12:30pm
Start – 9.00 am and 1.30pm
-Entry to the Pool area will not be before 7:45 am.
Tea/Coffee and Lunch will be available on first floor in the Club room for Coaches and Officials.
Spectators:
-Entry for Spectators will not be before 8.00 am
Entry Fee:
Saturday & Sunday – Payment by Cash or Card 
1 x Session Ticket – £51 x Full DAY Ticket – £7Concessions – 1 x Session £3: 1 x Day Ticket £5Children 12 and under -accompanied by adults, will be admitted FREE
Start sheets will be available at the start of each session to purchase for 50pCar parking:  There is free parking next to the Louisa Centre, but time restricted length of stay parking in Asda, Aldi and Iceland car parks.
Café: The in-house café is closed due to refurbishment works being carried out.  There is a café in Asda directly opposite. NESS Swimshop will be available all weekend in the main Reception area.
Medals: Once the results are displayed, Medals will be available from the medal desk situated just outside the changing Village.With it being our Christmas Cracker gala, Swimmers who win their heat, will receive a Token which can then be redeemed for a Selection box at the medal desk.

Durham Medley Gala – Times – Sat 18th Nov

Durham Medley Gala. Sat 18th Nov. Warm up is 8.30am for a 9.30am start. Session 2 warm up is 12.00 for a 1pm starts and session 3 (Finals) Warm up is 15:10 for a 15:45pm. All swimmers will have a minimum 4 swims. All 4 strokes and if they qualify an Individual medley in the finals session.
